2020 - self employed as consultant and instructor 2019/2020 - Hartland Cooperative Nursery School - Director/Lead Teacher Administrator and State licensed teacher for a PreK program. 2018-2019 - State of Connecticut - consulting and development of training initiative in financial management for EC Programs 2012 - 2019 - Owner of Center for Learning, Adventure and Discovery, LLC an outdoor learning environment for children and adults. 1999 - 2012 - Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Child Care Center, Lebanon, NH Director Responsibility for managing daily operations of a center licensed for 99 children ages 6 weeks to 10 years of age. The center is accredited by the NAEYC and features multi age groupings for 0 - 3 and 3 - 5 year olds. 2002 to 2020 - adjunct faculty for the NH Community Technical College system. Have taught Health, Safety and Nutrition; Child Growth and Development, Program Management, Infant and toddler development, curriculum development and Learning environments for young children. 2003 to date - adjunct faculty for CCV - Springfield and Upper Valley. Have taught Curriculum development, program management, Managing behavior in young children, and communications in EC programs. I have taught communications, administration, and curriculum development for the VT Apprenticeship program. 2004 - to 2018 - Adjunct faculty with the University of NH Family Studies Dept. in Durham. I have taught Administering Programs, Curriculum development, and Families School and community. 1996 - 1998 - Adjunct faculty for Wheelock College in Boston. Developed and taught a course in evaluating software for young children. 1990 - 1999 - Program manager at Work/Family Directions, Inc. in Boston, MA Responsibility to develop and implement quality enhancement and training projects, on behalf of corporate clients, for child care centers and family child care homes in communities across the USA. Manage and maintain relationships with service vendors nationally. 1988 - 1990 Small World Learning Center in Danvers MA.
