Work Experience

Shelburne Farms Early Education Program Coordinator - Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the pre school aged farm based adventures program. I am a regular teacher for school programs that come to the farm for hands on farm to school experiences. I am also a summer camp teacher and work with a variety of ages. I also work with area schools in enhancing their connection to the natural world. I also am a co-facilitator of a 6 part series for the school year of 2014/15 that invites all Burlington Early Childhood community members to be a part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) with a focus on farm to preschool connections.
Burlington Children's Space Program Director - Support five classrooms (infants through pre school) in curriculum planning, regular classroom supports, planning staff meetings and inservice days. Collaborating with partnering agencies (Howard Center, EEE, FITP, and Head Start) and coordinating service providers in the classroom.
UVM Campus Children's School Lab School Mentor Teacher - Classroom teacher in the infant/toddler loop. Developed, implemented, and evaluated curriculum through the use of narrative observations and analysis. Hosted student teachers for early childhood classrooms and mentored them in their journey of becoming classroom teachers.
