• This position put me in the role of leadership. I currently have the responsibility of directing the preschool program for our district. There are five other people working along side of me either teaching, assisting, or acting as paraprofessionals working individually with students on Individualized Education Program’s (IEP). I am the special educator for all of the 3-5 year-olds in our district on IEP’s and all of the duties that it entails. In my time here I have written and received over $10,000 in grants for our preschool program, developed a daily family reading and writing program, and expanded our program to accommodate sixty 3and 4 year olds.
