Adults (like children!) learn best when they are engaged in meaningful tasks that allow for different learning styles. I believe that reflective practice should be part of any learning experience, as should facilitated discussion and small group work that deepens understanding through shared experience, and whenever possible, hands on practice with new material and/or information.
