I believe that all instruction needs to be engaging. In other words instructors need to work diligently on maintaining the focus of their students. This can be done through activities, changes in voice, humor, and countless other ways.

I believe that the course provided needs to cover the topics required, but also answer any lingering questions that the students may have. This can be done by collecting a list of questions from students at the beginning and middle of the course, and evaluating with the students if they are satisfied with information gained, or if more needs to be provided prior to the end of the course.

Information given to students needs to be meaningful. Instructors need to connect theory and practice with every day life situations so that students can identify with it. This approach will help cement the information given.
