Leadership
My leadership philosophy centers on clear communication, collaboration, and leading by example. I believe effective leaders communicate in ways that are concise, respectful, and positive so that expectations are clearly understood and teams feel supported in their work. I strive to model the professionalism, dedication, and compassion that I expect from the staff I work alongside.

I believe leadership in early childhood education requires a strong commitment to both people and community. By working collaboratively with educators, families, community partners, and support agencies, I aim to create systems that strengthen the childcare workforce while ensuring high-quality learning environments for children. Supporting staff in their professional growth—whether through training opportunities, higher education pathways, or mentorship—is essential to building a sustainable and skilled workforce.

I value a team culture grounded in positivity, accountability, and mutual respect. I work closely with staff to guide them through challenges, model effective communication strategies, and ensure they have the tools and support needed to succeed. As a leader, I believe it is important to remain engaged in the daily work of the program, never asking staff to take on responsibilities that I am not willing to support or take part in myself.

Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate programs where educators feel valued, families feel supported, and communities benefit from strong, reliable early childhood systems that help both children and professionals thrive.
