Work Experience

I have been an assistant teacher, behavior support specialist with EES and now the disabilities/mental health coordinator. I supervise our behavior support specialist. I have been with Early education services for nine years. My role includes supporting children, teachers and families using a multi tiered system of support and the pyramid model framework. I have supported both the implementation and designing of our procedures and policies around child guidance, development of behavior support plans, procedures for the development of plans, response plans, and a coordinated approach to plan development. I am well versed in conducting FBA'S. I have also supported and facilitated ongoing practiced based coaching (individual and group) during and through the pandemic as a necessary support practice for our teachers and staff. I have been a PBC for 7 years. 4/1/24 I became trained in TLC as a facilitator. TIP is a practice I am very passionate about and continue to support the implementation and how to imbed these practices with in our agency and support staff, children, families. I utilize a strength based mental health and trauma informed lense.
