I recently completed several courses to earn my level 2 director certificate (just waiting for final transcripts to apply). I have earned a Level IVB on the early childhood career ladder. I hold teaching license with dual endorsement in early childhood education and early childhood special education. I have also hosted 9 student teachers from UVM's early education program in my classroom and served as a mentor teacher for them.

Work Experience

ONE Arts Community Schools Program Director March 2024- Present
Currently opening a new program for the One Arts Community Schools that will be open exclusively for University of Vermont Medical Center Families. Responsibilities include all day to day operations of the center as well as logistical elements of opening the center - purchasing, reviewing rules and regulations, designing playground, enrollment, staffing, etc.

Let's Grow Kids- Grassroots Leadership Circle - Volunteer 2023
Volunteer program aimed at advocating for the passage of Act 76. Lobbying with policy makers, attending community events, canvasing to find support in local communities, etc.

Integrated Arts Academy Kindergarten Teacher - 2013-2022
Classroom teacher for Burlington School District's magnet school which focuses on integrating art forms into the daily curriculum. Responsibilities include communication with families, creating lesson and unit plans, assessing and monitoring student learning, generating progress reports for families, holding parent teacher conferences, collaborating with service providers, and more!

Mentor Teacher through partnership with University of Vermont Early Childhood Education Program 2015-2022

Welcomed nine different student teachers into my classroom at the Integrated Arts Academy that were pursuing their career in Early Childhood Education. This involved mentoring the student teachers in their work with children in my classroom, guiding them through reflective conversations about their teaching practices and interactions with children and families.
