Like educating children, establishing a community is important to create a sense of belonging and relation within a group adults. Part of this is also recognizing different learning styles and abilities so that participants have equitable access to instruction. This can look like combining a variety of visual, auditory, and hands on learning approaches, which can also be used virtually. Meaningful learning must be releateable, so allowing time for participants to reflect, ask questions, and consider how they will apply the knowledge is critical for understanding the content. |
