Provide career advising support to the early childhood workforce; plan and coordinate Northern Lights professional development offerings; recruit, supervise and support Northern Lights trainers; participate in community and other activities to support Northern Lights and the career needs of the early childhood workforce; serve as liaison between early childhood professionals and other Community College of Vermont offices and outside agencies.

While working with the Promise Community 1 year Grant, I was required to maintain monthly conference calls with the State of Vermont regarding the grant expectations including supplying information for the quarterly reports. My position was to create a presence for the Community Center in our community, for sustainable success after the grant ended in 2018. Managed day to day activities at the center. Overseas volunteers and contracted presenters at the center. Provides community outreach for families and coordinates outreach with community and local agencies.
CIS Child Care Coordinator/Sunrise Family Resource Center Non Profit
Child Care Financial Assistance/Referral and Professional Development team. FAP/Referral programs; facilitates professional development workshops for child care providers; and supports specialized child care providers through on-site visits and via phone. Working with the Strengthening Families Grant to educate and support a cohort of childcare providers. Preparing quarterly and annual fiscal reports.
Family Advocate/Sunrise Family Resource Center Non Profit
Providing crisis intervention, therapeutic counseling, parent education, advocacy, and helping secure basic needs. Working directly with families to find solutions that are successful for them and their future goals. Record keeping in ordinance to the position. Helping individuals that are experiencing stress related to their basic needs such as; housing, employment, and medical. Connecting those individuals and families to local resources such as; Hawthorne Recovery Clinic, Bennington County Homeless Coalition, United Counseling Services, Vermont Department of Children and Families, Vermont Department of Economic Services and Vermont Department of Labor.
