Work Experience

I have worked as an early childhood educator and leader within the field for 12 years. I started as a Lead Infant Teacher, and quickly moved to an Assistant Director role at Sunny Lane Daycare. I worked along side the Director/Owner in aspects of the program and business. I handled classroom schedules, curriculum, educator training, staff meetings, staff reviews, family and community events, NAEYC, STARS, CACFP and more. I handled expenses, payroll, and tuition income, I even went as far as to support with tax preparations. I then went on to work as the Director for Suzy's Little Peanuts Day School when they bought Sunny Lane. I am now the operations manager of all five Suzy's Little Peanuts center. I oversee all program operations, from financial to classroom management, to employee oversight and more. I have been running in-service day trainings for all employees and have been conducting and supporting education, professional development and college courses for all of our 50 plus employees.
5-10 years instructing adults.
