Master's degree in Early Childhood Education

I have worked professionally in the field of Early Childhood Education since completing my B.S. in 1991. I have had the role of teacher, program director, and director of an Early Childhood Center.
In Michigan, I provided 15+ hours of professional development to a staff of 13 - 20 people annually for over 15 years. As required by licensing, we covered the 8 Core Knowledge Areas for EC Professionals.
Since May 2019 I have been in the process of relocating to Vermont and managing family life transitions. I was happy to begin working at Strafford Creative Preschool in Spring 2021 and love my role and my colleagues. However, I am missing the intellectual challenge and professional satisfaction from paying forward all the support and wonderful instruction I received as a newer teacher. I believe my educational background and experience qualify me to be an instructor, however, due to life circumstances I do not currently meet the requirement to have been teaching adults within the last 3 years.
has not received formal instruction in adult education or in the facilitation of learning for adults.
