I have been working in the ECE field since 2016, primarily with infants and toddlers. I have an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Vermont. I have been teaching education/ECE courses at Community College of Vermont since the Fall 2022 semester. I have mentored and provided support to other educators in various roles throughout my career. I have completed professional development in adult learning theory; online teaching (for adults); trauma-informed practices; diversity, equity, and inclusion; the Brazelton Touchpoints approach; a variety of assessment tools including IDA-2, HELP 0-3, AEPS-3, ECERS/ITERS, Inclusive Classroom Profile; and many more topics. I have a particular interest and expertise in topics related to infant-toddler education, inclusion, trauma-informed approaches to behavior, and special education/early intervention.
