Assistant Director-The Director of Child Care will manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. The director will oversee the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations, ensure that facilities are maintained, manage, and support childcare staff.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of a childcare center as well as strong leadership skills. SD Associates is a private practice that is committed to providing evidenced based services to support durable and generalized learning for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our services are applications of applied behavior analysis (ABA), the science of human behavior. Behavioral Instructors work directly with clients implementing individualized Behavior Support Plans, IEPs and ISAs as developed by the client's team and supervised by a Behavior Analyst. Behavioral Instructors teach social, communication, motor play, cognitive and self care skills while reducing challenging behaviors and increasing pro social behaviors. BIs work across a variety of settings including schools, homes and the communities in which our clients live. BIs have the ability to sustain focus for long periods of time. Ability to collect data for multiple measures/skills Maintain physical fitness and, upon completion of training, demonstrate physical prevention and redirection techniques. Willing to implement/assist with personal care routines with clients of varying age groups certification. BIs work on continuing professional development and work under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA.
