How Adults Learn
Leadership
1) I support each person in feeling confident about the teacher they are today even as they learn and grow more. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and inadequate in the daily demands of working with children. What works is to stay curious and light-hearted while staying committed to our personal learning and growth. I role model this approach in my trainings.
2) Learning is a complex, very personal process that takes longer than we'd like it to take. I teach on the pathway and processes of human learning within each training. The essential takeaway is to be patient and encouraging with ourselves and the children in our care.
3) I make big concepts easier to understand and take along.
