Bachelor's degree in Professional Studies: Early Childhood and Elementary Education

Professional certificate or license in VT Educator's License, endorsements in Early Childhood and Elementary Education

I have worked with young children birth through kindergarten over 20 years. I taught at Mary Johnson Children's Center from 2000-2016. In this time period, I was also a VT Apprenticeship Program mentor. I became a traveling Universal PreK mentor for Addison County, from 2016- 2018, teaching, providing mentoring and learning for home based and center based providers. I have been in my current role as Early Childhood Programs Director since the summer of 2018.

I received by BS from Champlain College in 2000, along with my VT Educators License with endorsements in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. This license is current, as well.

I have taken hundreds, if not thousands of hours of professional development workshops and courses. I engaged in two, week long, study tours to Italian early care programs.

I have taken a few courses since my BS and engage in Castleton University's Early Childhood Summer Institute each year.
