Howard Center Family and Community Based Services, Burlington, VT Living Skills Behavioral Interventionist, December 2013-May 2017 This position provides support to children ages 6-18 with emotional and behavioral challenges. Interventionists work closely with Masters level clinicians to create treatment goals and work towards increasing clients' overall functioning in their home and community settings. Interventionists are also required to provide clinical documentation, attend meetings with other providers, and attend many trainings. While in this position I planned and took leadership roles in multiple therapeutic groups, trained new hires, and provided support to peers while leadership was in transition. Chittenden County Court Diversion Program, Burlington, VT Review Board Member, January 2013- May 2013 After reviewing the case summary and background investigation information, Review Board Members interview candidates by asking questions that will effectively elicit information as well as offer the candidate an opportunity to learn from the context of the questions. Review Board Members then vote whether to accept or reject each case for Diversion. Upon acceptance, the members collectively discuss and decide appropriate contract terms. Teen Alcohol Safety Program (TASP) Intern, November 2012-May 2013 Attended court to meet clients, processed tickets, aided in client intakes, and carried out various office work.
