Work Experience

I have been teaching preschool since 2006 after graduating from Champlain college with a dual endorsement and licensure in elementary and early childhood education. In 2008 I became the program director at Children Unlimited and oversee curriculum and practice for children ages 6 weeks to age 12. I am a mentor for essex tech school and through VCCICC. My responsibilities range from planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children in my pre-k classroom to managerial duties like the hiring,firing, and record keeping of staff.
I absolutely love to teach children of all ages, especially in early childhood. In the right environment, with a wealth of tools and encouragement, all children have the ability to be life long learners.
