I have been a mentor in the VT Childcare Apprenticeship Program. I have been employed at the ACP/CC since 1996. I worked as one of the Infant/Toddler teachers for my first 14 years and since August of 2000, I have been the program coordinator. In 2018 I became the childcare director as well. Part of my current position is to do observations on teachers here as well as co-facilitate a supervision group of the teachers. I have had my CDA,and have supported participants in the ACP/CC in pulling together their portfolio and documenting their time in childcare. | |

Addison County Parent Child Center 126 Monroe St., Middlebury VT September 1996-August 2010 Infant/Toddler teacher/parent educator responsibilities include develop infant/toddler curriculum, supervise young parents on the job training skills, attend staff meetings, transport families as needed. August 2010-present Learning Together Program Coordinator/Childcare Director responsibilities include scheduling child care staff, knowledge of VT Child Care Licensing, STARS reports, schedule prevention panels at the local high schools, Learning Together Data, fill-in in child care, co- teach parenting class to parents, mentor peer staff, attend staff meetings, attend professional workshops, work with local high school to mentor students in the early childhood experience, coordinate volunteers, coordinate PCC transportation, knowledge of VELS, use the Therapeutic Child Care Handbook while facilitating supervision groups here at the P/CC, attend childcare directors meetings and provide supervision to the group. | ||||||||||
