I have been the owner and director of my own private 5 STAR accredited Vermont State Licensed Act 62/166 contracted preschool since July 2009. I started the preschool from nothing and created the program and business on my own learning the regulations and process to become licensed, act 62 (at the time)qualified and star accredited. I did this because there was a clear need in our community as the local eee could not service all of the students. I have taken many professional development workshops and courses over the years. IN recent years I worked with my local supervisory union curriculum director and wrote the preschool model curriculum for the district and facilitated prek curriculum planning meetings. I am Second Step Curriculum Certified, a certified CLASS Assessor, and have TSG interrater Reliability Certification as well as TSG step 1 and 2 training. I also hold a Step 1 program Management Certification and am working on the Step 2 program management certification.
Please see BFIS Account for details of all my professional development and related course work.

has received formal instruction in adult education or in the facilitation of learning for adults.
