Work Experience

I am currently the Pre-K teacher/ Director for Johnson Elementary School. My primary responsibilities are curriculum development, teaching, maintaining childcare license requirements, following licensing regulations and maintaining VT quality rating scale of 5 STARS.

I have held every position here at the Y Early Childhood Center in St. Albans. This experience has given the perspective of every position we have here at the center. I have worked as an intern, an associate teacher, a lead teacher, assistant director and now the director. I find my experience humbling because I want to individualize my mentoring and coaching and build relationships with staff, while supporting the children and families we care for.
