April 2022 - Present, ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, BTV Senior Education Manager - full time Oversee the delivery of all Group Programs, including school programs, outreach, camps, community STEM festivals, a virtual learning library, teacher professional development, STEM curriculum kits, and child-caregiver programs. Hire, supervise, and develop members of the Group Programs team. Manage large grant projects and other special initiatives, including task management, deliverable tracking, evaluation coordination, and reporting. Develop and deliver STEM education activities for early childhood and school-age groups at ECHO and across Northern Vermont. Develop and deliver teacher professional development at ECHO and across Northern Vermont. Build school and other strategic community partnerships. Adult learners have acquired their own areas of expertise and it is valuable to allow participants to learn not only from me, but from each other and I from them. 3. I believe in being well prepared, providing a comfortable learning environment and sharing my enthusiasm for STEM teaching in a way that motivates and inspires. |
